As above how can you check a electric Warn winch off truck, if it winds in and out, engages and disengages is that all that is needed to check.

i would say you need to hook it to a battery if you have one handy. do you have the remote switch? even then if it doesn't work it's probably just a selenoid, which is a very minor problem. what's the model and condition?

yeah its a warn xd9000 hooked it up winds in out no problems couldn't put it under load as the guy that selling it dosent have mounted t anything
