I'm looking to remove my rear sway bar on an LJ78. The forward ends are attached to a drop bracket from a ball-n-socket connector attached to a bracket. How do you get the nut off the threads of that ball-n-socket? It simply wants to spin? Allen wrench inside?

Yes - hex key inside to hold it while wrenching on it. If the one pictured was mine, I would start by heating the nut with a torch or heat gun.
