How to make to look tougher

It's not how big the truck is; it's how big the arm of the guy is that's driving it that makes it really look tough.

I know she is more than capable off road, but I also want her to look good on the road. I was thinking of blackening the front end crome and the top of the bonnet.

mine is getting repainted this week, ditching the black going international harvester red for the bumpers. looks good. not sure if the grille and mirrors will go black or red... ill post up if you want later this weeek

IMHO if you make it tough .. then will look tough ..

aggressive tires, winch, lift .. invest in " useful " improvements then look will come along ..

Lift it, bumpers, sliders, bigger tires. I've got 40" super swampers stuffed under my 60 from the previous owner but honestly I'd like to go down to 37's or 35's.

De-Chrome as much as possible, get rid of the wagon wheels and get some cheap modular mojaves or procomps. Black out the grill and tint does wonders. Personally I would peel the pinstripe off too, but thats just me. Good luck, and the rig already looks tough

I'd ditch the running boards if you dont really use them often...maybe the mud flaps too (always makes it look taller). What is under the flares??

Besides blacking out all the chrome.....May also look nice to try some additional Plasti-dipping. Maybe from the taillights to the snorkel in that body line area to cover up the retro graphics. Maybe black-out the center of the hood while you are at it.

Just hit the wheels with some Rustoleum. Black of course. If you want to go real mean, have some rock rings welded to them first.

Ha. I've already got the bushy red beard and crew cut, I even added the beer belly to help the look.
