I worked at the zone for a good year or so, how old is it? What level, red top, yellow, platinum? All you've really gotta say is you think your battery is bad. They'll test it, if it tests bad they'll check the warranty. They go by proration now, depending on age they'll give you credit toward a new one. No questions asked really. I bought a platinum when my optima died. Never looked back, and I'll buy a second when I set my truck up for it.

I bought it in Jan of 2014. Its yellow I believe.
I have a tester so I'll make sure it really is damaged before bringing it in.
Doesn't killing an automotive battery completely dead damage it?
I know marine/deep cycle batts can take it.

Yeah, completely draining an auto battery can damage the cells. Not good of course. The yellow top(gold) batteries are good quality, I've used them for years in all of my cars. Only recently switched to platinum. Being bought in Jan will probably get you a good chunck of what you originally paid toward a new one.

Thanks. I used a load tester and it seemed ok. Surprised because when I used to kill batts in the past, they never recovered.
