How to install Telescopic Steering Wheel in LC-100

I have a non telescopic steering wheel in my lc 100 , mine is a 2000 model lc 100 , i wish to install a telescopic steering wheel to it , i have found the entire steerign assembly with wiring harness and motors all in tact with the telescopic ecu .

Only thing holding me back was do all lc 100 coming form toyota have the same wiring harness installed irrespective of the add ons , Like if i try to install this telescopic steering wheel will i have the necessary wiring harness plugs to use which are already in the vehicle

some help would be appreciated if any one has tried to install a telescopc steering wheel in a non telescopic lc 100

I don't know that the 100 ever came with a telescopic steering wheel, you are probably charting new territory if you go into it. the Lexus LS430 of the same vintage did come with one, it could be a source for parts.
I can't imagine it would be worth the trouble, unless you have a disability and need it

I was under the impression that all (US) LX470 had electric tilt/telescope, and 2003+ (US) Land Cruisers had electric tilt/telescope. Both of my LXs do, but my 00 LC does not.

I would be very interested in this project if you make any progress on it. It’s always bothered me to have zero telescoping on my 02

I have an 03 with it, maybe when they switched to the new trans.
did all 03 plus have them or was it an option?

so i stand corrected, it looks like the 03+ LX470 has tilt& Telescopic. So the OP should easily be able to retrofit

I think there is a telescope/tilt ECU which needs to be connected.

guys can any one pls share a complete picture or diagram of the electric harness of a stock lc 100 steering column and one with a telescopic steering wheel , i want to see which wire connects where specially the ECU for the telescope

You want FSM page or actual photo of the wires? I have a 2005 with (nonfunctional) telescope, need to tear apart anyway to replace the telescope motor.

All LXs had tilt/telescope as standard equipment - '98 and up.
