I agree with mostly everything here but disagree re the wheelspin. Sometimes a little throttle and some friction allow for an overall better line

yeah totally agree with that, but my point is "when needed", knowing that the surface needs that throtte is what I am speaking of.
 
I will add that at a minimum you should be able to air up and down your tires. I go to 20 psi even on fire roads just to make the driving more comfortable. If I am rock crawling, 8-12 psi.

Also, the drivers going UP the obstacle usually has the right of way. Many people don't adhere to this. Going down is usually always easier and you should yield to those going up.

This is a VERY GOOD point! I don't know how many people I have cussed out because they started down a obstacle while my buddy (or myself) were climbing it!! The vehicle climbing ALWAYS has the right away is how I was taught many moons ago. (Of course there are exceptions..... I.e... rougher coming down, emergency, etc) That is why vehicles should have at least a CB on the trails. I don't mind getting out and "discussing" why I cussed their butt out either.

Havnt read through your whole thread so not sure if mentioned
When winching atleast unlock your front diff to not stress your front end to much
Also good idea to unock front diff when going backwards ie.getting stuck and reversing back to give it another attempt
And if you get the urge to give it the loud pedal with f&r locked your cvs have a better chance of getting you home if you keep your wheels straight.
