How serious is this tube breaking?

Sooooo while trying to access my engine block drain bolt, my wrench snapped this tube which I believe is just a filter pooling gutter thing.

How dangerous is it to drive the car until I get a replacement hose? I’m not planning a road trip but I am doing an errand running.

Assuming it’s not that big of a deal - looking for confirmation.

My truck : KZJ78 with a 1kzte engine

Attached are some pics.

Thanks in advance ~

Hello,

It looks like the condensed water drain from the air conditioner. I may be wrong, though.

Get a replacement hose and replace the one you broke before you use your truck again. It may not be a critical system but better safe than sorry.

Oh yeah it’s definitely going to be replaced soon - I just wondering it it’s a critical piece. The may be a newb question- sorry

it looks like there is another un-hosed nipple just to left in your picture too...
if A/C then its a non-issue...
Take another pic from a bit further away

Sure! The blurry pic is with my endoscope and the other pic backed up for context. It’s really just a shot of the side of the engine.

For the blurry pic, 1 is the drain to drain coolant from block, 2 im assuming is a fancier way to to it but I could be wrong and 3 is the broken bit that’s connected to the oil filter housing.

Found the tube on a diagram - still not 100% what purpose it serves but I'll be ordering one shortly

That's an oil filter drain hose. When you removed the oil filter, the oil will drain down into that hose and to the floor (will need a pan underneath the hose).

yeah that's just the oil filter drain hose. I lost mine ages ago. makes oil changes a little more messy but it is certainly not critical.
