Just out of curiosity how many liters do you use per 100KMs?

City?
Highway?
Tire size?

Thanks,
Nick

For reference:
1 US gallon = 3.78 Liters
100KM = 62.5 Miles

Uhhh... not sure really. I guess I'm slated 13/17, city/highway. At least that's what the window sticker said. So what roughly 5 gallons per 62 miles?

I never drive it anyway. It sits in a garage most of the time.

Ours averages 15 mpg. Better on the highway worse in the city, but usually around 15. I don't drive it much but I tend to use the skinny pedal a lot :o

I seem to get about 16mpg all the time regardless. About 50% highway (75mph+) and 50% city (not much stop and go traffic here though).

On 285/75s with stock gearing.

My LC takes about 10-12 mpg in a city and about 15 mpg on highway, on a 275/70-16 tires. Now I have ski rack mounted so I could expect 1 or 2 miles down.

Mine uses arround 12.5 liters per 100km on regular daily use (over 50% highway with 135 km/h average speed on highways). But can go as low as 10 l/100 km with a fully loaded car on pistes but of course lower speeds and as high as 20 l/100 km with a tent on the roof and 170 km/h on the highway on the way home ;).

Here are some pictures (sorry - the text is all in slovene) to give you an idea how a fully loaded car looks like (there are picture galleries for each day). I definitely need stronger rear springs and I won't be using Revos for such trips again.

I would love to get that kinda millage.
My 5-speed BJ60 used about 10L per 100km travelling at 110kph in the mountains. I will probably be replacing it with HDJ81 from Japan. From what I understand they get about use about 12-15L/100Km depeneding on tire size and speed etc. I am guessing with the same driving habits as my BJ60 I would use about 13L/100KM.

If the 80 and 100 series domestic cruisers were not gas I would probably of already bought one. But because they are I am left having to import one from Japan.

Anyways, thanks for the info. You are a lucky man. I would LOVE to have a 5speed TD 100 series. But for me an turbo diesel 80 will do. :)

Cheers,
Nick
