Im just curious to this. Is it really that heavy? Is it more than a 1FZ?I know it weighs more than a older iron block small block chevy. I just read on the 6.5 TD build into 80 series that its a little heavier than the 6.5 diesel. Is that possible?

They weigh a lot. I'll guess the motor weighs 450-500 fully dressed, trans about 300 and the xfer about 125.
It's not so much the weight that is the problem when pulling them out as a unit, it's the length. It's a 7-7 1/2 feet long turd.
