How much difference in rear quarters from 75 to 77?

As you might have seen from my build thread, my rusty rear quarters are done for, thanks to the factory fender flares and bumper ends covering them for 29 years. I recently found some patch panels (in aus) for a 75 series. Does anyone know how much longer they are than a 77 LWB? I guess I could cut them down. The profile looks the same, and it would be easier than making patch panels from scratch. But I wondered how close they were. Even shipped from Aus, they are pretty compact since they are just the lower part of the quarters, behind the rear wheels. Might be a good option? Opinions?

You can tell by the vent that the rear 1/4 of the 75 troopy is longer behind the wheel.

Maybe you could cut the 75 series rust panel down

And the 73/74 series is shorter again.

A 76 series rust panel would probably work if they make them.

Yeah my thoughts exactly. The 75 is the only one I can find so far that is close. The 70s and 74s are available but there's not much material there. Better too long than not enough metal to start with. I haven't been able to find 76 panels... Yet.

And I haven't gotten a shipping quote yet for the ones I showed above. So might still be a non starter?

Ask around on the Australian forums. There have been complaints about these panels in the past, mainly about the fit.
