I can't wait to hear someone disprove that one.

You are right though, but the really cool thing is that if you really wanted to and could afford to possibly break something, these rigs WILL take you through gate keeper (or what was once gatekeeper) and back with the fam on board. :grinpimp:

Well i don't have the wife or kids, but I have been getting pretty gutsy with my wagon lately. I'm the guy in the group of wagons and runners that volunteers for something first. My onlyiest problem is that I don't have a front locker yet so I get stuck in places. To me, not having a front locker maximizes damage because when I get stuck in a boulder garden i have to rock and finesse and back up and forward to get through something that a fully locked wagon crawls right through...
But anyway, I have noticed in the last year or so that I no longer get the "you have such a clean truck" comments and more like "Man that's how I want mine to be". But oh well... i bought it to wheel it at more than just the malls!

I said most guys...lol. Great stuff Eric! I'm thinking a mandatory option for me on purchase is factory lockers...unless I find one with ARBs front and rear.

ok, back on topic.

I think this thread is multi talented:D

any input will be taken into our design thoughts so dont be shy;)

So how about a tentative, but realistic release date for the 2.5" lift? And front bumper?

I am in the market and curious if it would be worth my while to wait and check out all my options. I can wait a few (less than 6) months but if this is a pipe dream, I'd prefer to know now.

I have been following this thread and like some of the things you are proposing. I have waited 3 years what is a couple months....hell my avatar pic is me completely stock! :D

Kits should be in stock and ready for sale in less than 5 weeks ,
bumpers will take a little longer to get ready for production.

No pipe dreams just products that work.;)

Frankie,

This is my JK custom bumper on my fj62, it houses a Warn 9.5xp. Maybe a FZJ80 version of this style bumper?

The problem with a custom bumper..is the Cost. Jason is a artist, and his work does not come cheap. So again..it's back to the cost v.s. just buying a ARB.

Now that's a nice bumper.

How did you get to park in the kitchen? :)

MASS production of a custom bumper is the Key to making it afordable.

And then it's no longer custom, is it?! :)
