How many miles do you normally get out of a set of Dunlop tires that come on the LX 570

Don't have a ton of experience on these but I think I have read about wear issues with those tires. Seems that some have reported uneven wear, cupping, and a difficulty balancing. Could be a non issue but gives you an excuse to buy some KO2s!

My 100 series had Dunlops on it when I bought it...

How many miles did I get out of them?
-About 3 miles.....the distance to my nearest Discount Tire shop! :hillbilly:

I say swap them out as soon as you're ready.

A good set can easily be sold on craigslist. I had Michelins on mine with about 5k miles and easily sold the set for $500, + another $50 for the single dunlop spare. I was able to get my current 5x Falkens for right around $1100 mounted. No point in waiting for that kind of deal.

If they are the same Dunlops on the '13 LC, then yes - uneven wear and cupping here after only ~20K. I drive aggressively, but not that aggressively. Switched to LTX AT/2's, about to mount some KO2s. Good luck!

Pretty much the same... 4 Dunlops with only a few thousand miles on them when I got it. I think they were on my truck about a month before I replaced them with the Rock Warriors.

Those may have not been original. On my service record, the previous original owner replaced the Dunlops with another set at the dealer at approximately 24,000 miles. The tire has lousy tread depth to begin with, plus it is a weak P-metric tire designed for lighter passenger vehicles. LT or P-metric tires for light truck/SUV applications - Retail - Modern Tire Dealer I could not get rid of them soon enough.

I'm 30k into my stock 285-60-18 dunlops. Rotated every 5k. I don't have a measurement, but they probably have another 20-30k left.

You guys think YOU have problems....I just picked up a 2017 LX CPO..w/ 21" rims. the dealership put on two new Dunlops on the front saying the rears met the CPO standard and didn't need replacement. By wear pattern, Im guessing they were the old fronts. Either way Hasta La Vista... switching to Michelin Pilot Sports momentarily.

Toast at 28k. Rotated every 5k. Switched to Michelin LTX when the original Dunlops were done. No real difference, dunlops were a bit sportier when leant on
