how many miles do you have on your 80

so i am getting more serious about picking up an 80 series and i was wondering what kind of longevity some of you might be getting. I'ld like to know milage, what kind of action your LC sees and what your maintainence schedule is?
and also what kind of climate you are in. i don't anticipate changing my mind on an 80, (i just haven't found the right one close enough) so don't sugar coat it.

Just make sure you have a few grand in your bank account to spend on your car and you will be fine. Also the search thread feature is your ticket to a wealth of info. If you can do work on your car you are a step ahead. Good luck. 150k miles. These cars will last forever.

285k daily driver driven about 20k a year. Oil change every 5k mobil1 synth. Other fluids changed annually. Head gasket replaced @ 252k.

'97 daily driver w/ 201k. about 30k / year since i purchased it. head gasket by PO around 150k. small things have to be replaced (starters, hoses, air intake, etc). motor runs strong. change oil w/ Mobil1 synthetic every 5k along with a tranny drain and fill.

around 268k miles, purchased last year with 259k miles. Burns and leaks enough oil she gets the cheap 15w40 dino. Needs a front axle job and a rear axle seal. I love that big bitch.

Purchased in 2005, with 65K miles from 1st owner. Now have 171K trouble free miles on it, with road trips, mountain wheeling, trailer towing, deep snow, daily driver. OEM PHH still holding, as is the head gasket. Spent $9K on mods and maintenance over 7 years. Everything works perfect. 14 mpg. Budget for maintenance. Budget for gas. Work on it yourself. Keep it forever.

240k original motor and hg, bought it in 2010 with 215k Ive only changed the oil twice with mobile 1 flushed whole coolant system and put a new koyo rad in. Daily driver until January of this year and drives like new still. Fxxxing pig just won't die lol.
