I have some wheels from a former truck that will need spacers up front to clear the caliper, I know it depends on the wheel...but how much spacer does it take to make the bolt flange come out past the caliper?

Sorry for the newb question.

I don't know a specific number, but would guess it would be at least 1.5 inches or more. I'm not a fan of large spacers and would not recommend them for safety reasons. I don't think you can fit a 15" rim of any sort on an FJC. 16" and 17" rims with 4-5/8" backspacing are standard sizes for the FJC.

I have 1" spacers on mine to clear 16" wheels from a 3rd gen 4runner.

Thanks for the input guys!

I got the FJ up on the lift last night and did a lot of measuring, I decided on 1.5 in spacers from all-pro and ordered them last night.
