How is this for "value"

Looks really clean to me. Leather's in great shape, dash/console area is nearly scratch free, and the paint looks to be in really good condition. I'd be curious what their version of "rust free" is. Ran their VIN and the mileage is 200k+ which is not a concern but a negotiating tactic to see if they would come down to $17k. I will say it's got really good service history, they were meticulous about regularly flushing fluids which is great to see. Head gasket & exhaust manifold gasket done with TB/WP, new drivers side hub & CV axle, & all new plugs. Looks like it's been very well cared for

This is the only red flag in my opinion. Why was the head gasket replaced? What caused it to blow? Those would be my first questions. Otherwise it looks like a super clean rig that was well-maintained and remains completely unmolested.

Are you selling or buying or just curious? Ang specific questions ?

I was curious about this as well. I’m also wondering why they replaced only the drivers side hub & axle :hmm: I had to do that about 7yrs ago due to bearing failure and the cv walking out of the hub. Definitely something to keep in mind and ask about, but it wouldn’t scare me away

This one pops up in my cars.com search as well. On the surface, compared to what’s out there its high for the mileage. I just missed out on one at an Ohio Alfa dealer for ~14k with 162k. Just curious, how do you run the VIN to get maintenance record?

Call Toyota- they have a data base that is from all Service departments that would ever have delt with that vehicle- they will provide every bit of information related to vehicle except owners names and information.

I too think it's a bit pricey for the year and mileage. You're getting into '06-'07 price points. Having just gone through this process, I no longer care about the "one owner" thing. It's all about the condition of the specific vehicle. If you can get a few thousand off and it is truly rust-free, it could be decent value with the super-clean interior and $1100 worth of new tires. Speaking of tires, that size looks perfect. Anyone know if they are 275/65/18 or 275/70/18?

Thanks. I’ve done that with used BMW’s (a life saver) but didn’t know if there was a website where you could run the VIN on your own.

This is the one I used to run this VIN

Toyota Owners

You create an account and it’s a database where you can see all of your vehicles service records, active recalls, owners manuals, schedule service, etc...They also have a nice app. I just temporarily added that vehicle to “my garage” and went to the service records tab.

I agree completely. My 100 was a 1-owner but once the warranty expired so did his desire to pay for and keep up maintenance. Consequently, mine required substantial work when I purchased it, despite being a coveted 1-owner. I can assure that he is not alone...

Just going to leave this right here....
