My rear diff won't lock (factory lockers). Front locks fine, center locks when in low like its supposed to but rear just blinks and blinks. Any suggestions?

Check to see if it's actually engaging or not. The switch on the axle housing may be bad, and there's an alternate part number off a Camry or Carolla that will work for half the price. The locker may be engaging, but the light just flashes. That's what mine is doing, I just need to get off my duff and fix it. Ten minute job apparently.

Good call I'm not sure actually. I don't think it's engaging. How do I know 100% if it is or is not?

Find some gravel or other low traction surface and start doing a figure 8 with your rear locker engaged. If it locks in you should hear the inside rear starting to break loose as it tries to catch up to the outside tires speed.

If you can't quite tell, try this: Once you think it's locked, drop the right side of the truck off the pavement into some gravel or mud, and hammer the throttle. If you get wheel spin it's not locking.

Mine locked up very fast when I needed them about an hour ago ! Almost flopped the cruiser on its side when the drivers front dropped off into a huge sink hole. Thought pretty seriously about using my door as a makeshift kickstand to keep us from going over, but we were pitched over so close to the ground on that side it wouldn't open that far. Eased her into low range, flipped the switch all the way over, then gave it some gas in reverse. They were locked within a second or two. Drove right up out of there. Conditions were slick mud and water.
