How far does 1 gallon of Durabak go?

I want to put durabak down on the inside of my 77 fj40 tub. Will a gallon do? If so how much will it cover?

I did Herculiner on a 74. Three thick coats and used 3/4 gallon. I did from under the pedals back. jeff

I would think you will use more. Depends on what you define as the tub. Floor only or all the sides and under the dash? I will do the same to mine but with all the nooks and imperfections I want to hide, I doubt a gallon will do it. I plan to roll it on fairly thick too. No harm in starting with one and if you need more, go get some.

I did my full tub including the firewall with 2 heavy coats with very good coverage. if you roll it on it will turn out with a very rough texture so you my want to spray or use smooth

I painted my tub prior to that I bet it would though its pretty sticky you could use PORs topcoat primer beforehand though

I put mine over por15 and its not pulling up anywhere I didnt rough it up any either but it was blasted to bare metal before appling the por
