How does factory front bumper attach 2001 (1 Viewer)

I was trying to attach a factory front bumper on my 2001 and I’m stumped. The crash bar appears to have 4 bolts at either end that attach to something. That something is not the end of the frame rail.

Anyone know? Seems like transition plates if some sort.

Looking for a pair if that’s what’s needed

Are replacing the crash bar and supports or just the bumper cover?

Little background for perspective.

Have an ARB. Want to replace with stock bumper. Have an old stock bumper laying around with crash bar. Took ARB off and made attempt to install stock bumper but ran into issue this the question.

Failed to take pictures.

Think I found an answer to my question by looking at Toyota online parts store. Looks like there is a pair of plates that attach to frame rail ends creating connection for the impact bar.

I believe you only cut a small part off of the factory bracket to install the ARB bumper. The factory bracket with holes should still be there. You have to unbolt and remove the large brackets for the ARB bumper that bolt on over the ends of the frame rails.

So perhaps 62116A is what I am missing that would allow me to attach the impact bar to the chassis.

To clarify, trying to return to stock and I have everything noted in the image below except 52116A.

Anyone know for sure if 52116A is the transition from end of chassis to impact bar?

Do you have these brackets on the front end of the frame rail (the two threaded holes facing the front of the vehicle? That's what my OEM crash bar bolted to.

Yes...My frame ends do look like yours. Problem is crash bar does not bolt to the frame end which is why I suspect 52116 is attached to crash bar and that is how they are attached to the frame end.

When I get home tonight i will check to see if crash bar has 52116 in place.
