SOLD!

Lowered to 13,500, or best offer. This has been a rolling restoration since 2016. I have put about 65k miles on it during that time. It's rust-free with a white exterior with grey fabric interior. No sunroof. Seems like there was a 2" lift from some time in the past. Shown here on 32"s (275/75/16). Center diff lock only.

I'm a mechanical engineer and a former NASA engineering manager; I have been working on and a restoring cars and motorcycles for 30 years. This is not a concours restoration, rather, I have focused on functionality to carry my family to adventures around the country.

I have an extensive list of repairs completed since I purchased this vehicle, including, new birf joints, new shocks, new brakes, new transfer case, and new rear diff. In the engine bay, we have a new engine management computer, new radiator, new fan clutch, new distributor, new alternator, new AC compressor, new water pump, new power steering pump. I actually pulled the engine to replace all of the external seals and gaskets. I have tested the compression successfully multiple times, and vacuum tested the cooling system successfully multiple times. Regarding the interior, I replaced the cruise control computer, the dash trim, and replaced the headliner. I also added AirLift airbags in the rear, to level the load when towing or heavily laden. Detailed maintenance list available if you are interested.

This engine runs like new, pulls hard, and starts easily. As I stated before, compression is good and vacuum test on the cooling system was good. We have loved this vehicle and the whole family is heartbroken to let it go, but we have a 100-series now also, and we can't justify both.

AC is recently refurbished with a new compressor, a new low pressure line, and a new dryer. During the installation, I was interrupted after vacuuming the system. When I hooked up to the system 2 days later it was still at -30 mmHG. You'll have no AC concerns.

There are more pics in the CarGuru add here.

Check to see if you have the 2.2kwh starter
Check to see if you have the longer or shorter front drive flange / birf joint. I think rigs built post-5/1994 got the longer stronger design. Prior to that, they got the shorter ones. GLWS

Does this have ABS and rear disk brakes? Sorry if I missed it somewhere in the ad.

I have standard flanges. Without a front locker I didn’t see the point of upgrading. If/when they need replacing, it would be a good add. I used Trail Gear HD CV joints (they were on sale cheaper than the regular) and they have the extra length for it - a circling groove for regular flanges and one for long flanges.

I’m not sure of the starter power. Is this a thing? Seems to start with a vengeance. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Lowered the price to 16,500; roof rack included. If you think I'm too high, make me an offer!

Looks like it on Ebay. GLWS!

Thanks! Regrettably, yes. It’s impossible to determine a right price right now. I gather from the silence here that I’ve started way too high. But, comparable vehicles are all over the place (between 5k and 30k) with no clear pattern, so auction it is.
