I have a 78 fj40 for sale. It is inspected and registered. Originally red, the outside has been painted but the interior is untouched. recently added parts webber, maf header and dui ignition. I will add pics soon.

Okay, I can never leave anything alone...I pulled the top today. The lid is in great shape, drip rail is super clean. top has a few holes drilled through? side panels are good but where they meet the back section of the tub. door sills are great, front piece that bolts to the windshield is very good.
both back corners are rusted and driver side rocker is not really good. threshold is in excellent shape. the remainder of the cruiser has very little to no rust. I pulled the interior recently to give it a good scrub and couldn't stop. driver side seat slider works perfect but both seats should be upholstered. it is missing driver side visor.
I have a speedo cable that goes with it. Interior heater parts are all included. I jacked around with the heater valve so it may need to be replaced
the gauges work fine, alt bounces a bit. gauge cluster doesn't dash switches and cables work with exception to the cig lighter.

heater/vent fan good
dash
all exterior lights work great(passenger front turn missing side cover amber...I have it)

correction...both back corners where the side panels meet the tub and intersect with the ambulance doors are rusted. back corners of the tub are good.
also have spare tire carrier along with a slew of other things that I miss but you'll wonder. thanks again
