Hi Guys
I figured I'd post this up in a separate section to avoid hi-jack...
I've actually been in the hospital since Thrusday. I have had a bad headache all week and took a couple of days off work. I was feeling alright on Wed and actually went down to Charlotte for work and back, but on Thrusday morning at work I was having difficulty speaking and just was acting kinda goofy - having difficulty finding common words etc.
I took myself to WakeMed in Apex and after fading in and out a couple times being unable to communicate or read and after having a cat scan with a noticible brain mass they wanted to admit to the Neuro unit at WakeMed's main campus in RDU. I've had an MRI and there is a pretty large mass on the left side of my head behind my ear.
I've been here for the past couple days, have had multiple tests and everything but have been pretty much ok - no problems, no pain, etc.
They are treating me like a stroke patient, but find it hard to believe, especially since I'm 25. So we're not sure what's going to happen - maybe some a MRI Spec and then a possible biopsy or a spinal tap.
We're supposed to hear more today. I ask that you just pray for me that I have a full recovery and just continue to pray for my wife, Janet, for continued peace.
Both sets of our parents came in town and the dog and FJC are taken care of...but it still isn't ideal.
I still want to make it out west for the ride this month - but I'll probably have to play it be ear over the next few weeks. We'll see what happens - hope to talk to yall again soon.
Jared
