Hi Guys

I appreciate all the well wishes and prayers...I'm not out of the woods but was allowed to go home last night, it's nice to pet my dog and sleep in your own bed!

The MRI Spectroscopy confirmed that there is a tumor in my head, it's pretty large, but we're still unsure what stage (1-4) 1 being benign, 4 being aggresisve.
I'm going to have another MRI on Thursday and then a Biopsy on Friday...I'll have to stay the night friday night. Apparently the procedure is pretty straight forward, they take a small chuck of my brain and then send it to Johns Hopkins to tell us what we're dealing with.

Worst part is in the mean time I can't drive the FJ or even ride a bike for that matter!

I'm feeling good - so glad to be out of the hospital...but still got a bit more to go. Hopefully we can get all this sorted out before the trip, we'll see if my wife will still let me go, ha!

Keep up the great attitude :D

Look forward to hearing a good word from the doc.

Let's pray it will be so :insert two thumbs up:

Jared, continuing to pray - and again, here for whatever the wife and I can help with.

Ramon

Hello Jared,
My prayers and thoughts to you and your family for a speedy recovery. Keep up your spirits hoss, that helps a lot. I had some pretty bad issues for about 4 years and it's hard, but staying strong and positive goes a long ways. You take your health for granted until it's taken from you, that's for sure. Not sure where you are located, but I live in Apex. I'm new to ONSCs, but if you or your family need anything don't hesitate to PM me for my cell #. Seriously, if you need anything if your are local, lawn cuts, etc. I'm single so I've got all the time in the world;)

Yo Han

Alright - had the biopsy on Friday, stayed the night and home Sat morning.

The surgery went well, and I'm not in too much pain, feels like a big knot, like someone threw a baseball at my head. The big cut doesn't actually hurt that much, there are 3 spots where they put my head in a vice - those spots sting.

They sent the sample they took out to Johns Hopkins and should have the results later this week...just waiting right now.

Check out the new do:

God Bless, God speed and Gods touch for your healing :)

Just as long as the doctors didn't treat your melon like Joe was treating Ramon's axle, you'll be fine!

Amen Brian! Jared, if Joe comes to visit, make sure there is no chrome spray paint in the vacinity.

Praying for the result to be benign!! Keep your head up Jared, you're young and can kick this thing's ass whatever it is!
