So let me start with a little back story, I bought a 100 series with intention of a project. I finished a full frame swap and a ton of metal work on a rusty cruiser.

I have replaced all ball joints, bearings, steering rack and suspension. OME 2 inch, dobinsons uppers.

When I go to turn into a driveway or curb I’m hearing a clunk (makes me think suspension related) also when I let off the gas I can hear a faint thumping sound in line with the rotation of the wheels, if I hit the brakes it goes away.

I have checked all bolts to make sure they are torqued and can’t find any off, can’t find play anywhere. Cv’s are new, I will say I don’t think I heard it before replacing driver cv but can’t be sure, all fluids changed, no metal in the front diff.

If anyone has run across something similar let me know! Thank you

While turning in makes me think sway bar links.
The rest of your description sounds like diff mounts.

I am not running a sway bar up front just rear. I did change the one bushing and mount, may be time to change the other two.

Check shocks' AND control arms' mounting points.
Remember:, Lower shock & stabilizer, and control arm bolts. Are torque in, while under-load (vehicle on ground, in neutral stance).

I've seen many, lower shock bushing shot and loose. Happens fast, when not torque down, while underload.

Good feedback, what is torque spec on the two?

These 3 points of LCA, should be torqued with control arm in neutral stance. Best, vehicle on the ground.
170ft-lbf lower control arm (bushing)
101ft-lbf Lower shock
Link bolt 38ft-lbf

OEM frt UCA nut 72ft-lbf, also needs to be in neutral stance. Alignment shops, may or may not loosen and torque all 4 points of upper control arm. You can request they be.

I corrected the LCA bolts torque above, to170ft-lbf. Also added UCA nuts and link lower bolt for those with front stabilizer in place.
