Hood Scoop of new land Cruiser Truck

Hello everyone,

As the subject above, I have been searching for a while for any site over the net that sell the Australian hood scoop Model. I have uploaded pictures of my truck in the album as you can see in Middle east comes standard without the scoop.


Of anyone can advice me with helpful information will be much appreciated.

Im think that would be a dealer only item. If you have an 07- model you could probably modify it

The hood scoop is there to feed air into the top mount intercooler on the turbo V8 diesel.

Not sure if it is on any petrol models at all.

If you don't have the intercooler, why do you need the hood scoop?

The scoop on the last cruiser looks soo sweet. I really hate the factory patrol hood. Seems like stander... I don't need the intercooler to have the scoop.. If you have any idea where to buy please share the information,,, I'm not sure if the scoop comes saprated than the hood or not.. I'm installing T04 turbo kit this week and the intercooler will be inside the front pumper as well I'm trying to buy 4x 317\75 r16 cooper tires

some guys in OZ are using the Hilux intercooler scoop, it is a seperate item that can be purchased from toyota I believe.

mate i think your best bet is trying to buy a bonnet from an ozzie wrecker if you can find one that aint buggered. Otherwise i could bet toyota would want nothing short of a few thousand for a brand new bonnet. Sorry to rub it in but yeh i love my scoop.

Thats a fairly serious looking bull bar or should I say elephant bar up front there.
Looks nice and solid,I would feel comfortable in cow and roo country behind that

hey rosco steel tray on back mad by company in tamworth, i can get a detailed pic if you like. They make a good looking tray but there finsh qaulity dropped off in recent times. yeh bullbar solid hey haha

Its ok I thought there was something like a canopy there.
I had a TL steel tray on my 75 series when I 1st bought it.
Best power increase I ever got was replacing it with a good alloy tray
I only use it for camping and such ,so the steel tray was a bit much.

Whats the antenna for, UHF?
