Slee Primary Battery Tray installed with Duracell Platinum Group 31 AGM battery.

Wondering if anyone else has ran into the issue of the hood not fully closing? The gap was much worse so I removed the Negative military extension bracket for additional clearance. There is still a noticeable gap and to me it feels like the hood is hitting the battery and not the negative terminal.

Is that a marine battery with the terminals swapped? That might be your issue, I couldn't close mind with my marine interstate so I had to special order one with the terminals matching the original. Closes fine now

The special order for for the "P" version of the battery. You need the "Duracell Ultra Platinum AGM BCI Group 31P"

It's the passenger car version instead of the marine version with posts

I don't want to sound like a smart a$$ but this actually happened to me, replaced my battery and then realized i never took out the height tray from the old battery. My issue was that I couldn't get screwed back on so I realized something was off. Took the battery out again and there...

Side note, your terminals look great, but yes on mine they are on the opposing side.

......i use chalk to find things like this.....just chalk the tops of post connections, battery holder, pos fuse box, etc....then check bottom side of hood.
