Hey Phil, FYI, and this is just a forethought here..

The annual Pismo Jamboree (Formerly 4Runner Jamboree) is that same weekend and usually there's a "Post-Pismo Hollister Hills Run" all of us from the Northern areas do (*not that I've been able to attend at all lately) after the weekend has passed and everyone's on their way back home.

I think it would be a smart/cool thing to maybe orient this cleanup event around that event more and more since in all honesty at that point you have way more users in the park already for a day. People are going to already be there anyhow, why not capitalize on the fact since it also covers multiple clubs and forums? Know what I mean, instead of conflicting, offer it as a co-op type thing? (Then again the cleanup day is a nice alternative if you can't make it to Pismo and want something closer to do.)

Just a thought is all. I'm not a part of MTA, and am just TLCA this year, but if you're open to the idea I appreciate it. I have a wedding to goto that weekend and I know I've promised our involvement/help before and not been able to do it on short notice. Let me know if maybe next year this can happen.

p.s. I am not sure if your cell #'s still the one ending in 9629, but if it is and you prefer me to explain the logic in this I'm happy to call ya rather than detour this post. We can also just grab some coffee and meet @ ToyConnection to chat in person?

Don't worry about the RSVP date. Let them know if you're coming so they can plan food.

The Park plans this event, MTA just attends. The Park Staff is trying to get more 4x4 users involved, but they are not really sure how to do that. I am positive they would welcome more input from the 4x4 community.

Phil
