Hello Land Cruiser community. I am planning on attending the monthly coffee and cars gathering this Sunday. I went last month and it was a blast. Lots of cool muscle cars and very friendly people. This is a great opportunity to check out some nice muscle cars and hot rods while showing off our offroad rigs to a very friendly and supportive crowd.

Sunday, December 9th, 7-10 AM, join fellow car enthusiasts in paying tribute to fallen ex-Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods. The charity event will be held at JBA Speed Shop at 5675 Kearny Villa Road.
Senior Chief Petty Officer Tyrone Snowden Woods, Sr., a United States Navy SEAL (ret.) was 41. He died September 12 defending the U. S. diplomatic post in Benghazi, Libya, and was buried at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in Point Loma.

"Ty Woods was a friend, crew member and long-time customer of JBA Speed Shop," J Bittle, owner, said. "It is fitting that we pay tribute to this fallen hero and accept donations to benefit Ty's legacy---his 4-month old baby boy Kai."

The tribute will be held during the December 'Coffee & Cars on the Mesa,' a Sunday morning gathering of San Diego car enthusiasts. JBA local friends want to open up the gathering to those that may have never attended a Coffee & Cars. In addition, we will again celebrate Ty Woods sacrifice with a major fund raiser including VIP's of Ty's community past and present. So put Dec 9th on your calendar and let's plan to rally as many as possible. We will secure the additional parking lots in the area for our early morning rendezvous!

Awesome! Thanks for the heads-up.

I am gonna try and make it, though currrently cruiserless.

I will be at JBA by 7:00am in my 71. I hope to see as many of you as possible tomorrow. Its a great charity event and an all around fun time.

FZR400Guy, I just missed you at the show. I was turning left onto Kearny Villa and you were turning left onto Clairemont Mesa Blvd. I was in the blue 60, big lift, small tires. :D
It was a good turnout, cool cars on hand. Saw a white 80 with bumpers, sliders and snorkel, possibly Noah's?

Yea I saw you at the light. I had to bug out a little early to do some work on my wifes truck. The turn out was really good, first time I have had to park across the street.
