Holiday C-Gap run Tucson Dec 30

****MAKE SURE YOU HAVE RECOVERY POINTS AND IF YOU HAVE TOW STRAPS BRING THEM*****

Forecast has rain and snow for the 28th and 29th. C-gap could be running and more than likely snow on the way up to the gap. It's possible we may have to help each other along on this trip.

BE PREPARED!!

It's that time of year again, boys and girls, for the 3rd annual CSC Tucson Holiday run. The run will be Charouleau Gap, from Oracle to Catalina.

This is a great trail, but a long day. A typical CSC group of 8-10 vehicles can plan on being on the trail for 8-10 hours. We have a lot of fun and everyone who wants, gets a shot at The Step.
High clearance required, sliders and lockers are nice, but not required. There are good bypasses on the harder obstacles.

December 30th

Meet at the Oracle Circle K at 8 a.m. for airdown and an 8:30 pull out.
CB 4
Bring lunch, snacks and drinks. Enough for an entire day.

So post up who's coming and lets have a good time Holiday wheeling in Tucson.

Tools edit;
Added map.

I can't run on the 30th, but I might be able to run on the 31th. Trying to finalize holiday plans and will be in NM on the 29th.

Vote for Sunday the 30th, the wifey works Monday.

Count me in either day Alvin.

I should be good to go this time, either day.

I can't do the 31st. 29th would be preferred. 30th is possible but that's a long day with work in the morning.:frown::crybaby:

I may be able to do the 30th also...are people bringing the kids?

I've been wanting to make this run and have a better chance of making the 30th:) - altho my reliability and recent track record may be called into question by my csc brethern:doh:.

I've been wanting to make this run...

Mmmmm- hot dogs. I'm gettin' hungry just thinking about this run.

-Spike (I LIVE in left field. :D)

Judging from recent history, you better bring food, the chances of that :princess: yellow rig driver showing are somewhere between slim and nil!:D

ooo - I sense a challenge.

ooo - I sense a challenge.

If thats what it takes to get you there, then the gauntlet is thrown down.

Looks like the 30th may be the better day, maybe I'll just do another cool run on the 31st...
I'll give it another day or so and see how many more votes for 30th we get.

Rob, bring the kids if they can handle a long day of trail fun. we'll be taking lots of stops for pics and all that so they'll get lots of opportunity to get out. Zoe will be along for sure.

What do you think? Should I put on the hard doors and the ragtop, or is everyone ok with the Michelin Man look:D
