I don't want to put my foot in my mouth, but I would like to wheel Friday as well.

The way this year has been going almost everything has broke or about to.

We are also planning on going to Turkey Bay (land between the lakes) on the 27th of July. There's a small group going and no one has ever been there before. Should prove to be interesting.

I assume by your avatar, your 40 lives?

Bill, its been years since I've been there, but Turkey Bay was a decent day trip. Nothing too wild but some fun to be had. The trails are mainly dirt or gravel but if I remember we did find some smaller rock gardens over towards the lake. Have fun.

July 27th, I'll be getting into Colorado for some open diff wheeling. Otherwise id head down.

What part? Taking the 40?

3rd gen 4runner.

I am going to work my way across it. Rafting, mt. biking, camping, wheeling. I will start at the top and work my way to the telluride area.

Yes but yesterday started having a new issue, hoping its just fuel filter or something easy.

That sounds like a great trip!
We are already planning to head back out there next summer for 2 weeks.
Just you and Jen?

Just you and Jen?

Yup, everyone else bailed on Moab. :frown:

And since I wont wheel the kind of the trails that the big 4runner is fun on, alone. Ill just take the little 4runner and do the scenic wheeling thing in CO. instead.

Not sure I am interested in driving the 40 to Colorado.

Thats going to be a badass trip! I cant wait to move out there, that will be my weekends :)

Sounds like fun.

I found out something on my vacation time.
As of August 6th I have 1 week that I have to use before January. After the first of the year I can take my next 1 week vacation any time between Jan 1- Dec 31.
This makes the next PYS possible.:bounce2::steer:

Lets do it!!!! Hell, even if its flat nasty...

One of the days is already allocated to the hoedown.

When we were at flat nasty Ron was talking about his Outlaw Toyota Run and had mentioned you guys as far as determining a date. Was there an initial thought of a second run to flat nasty this year and when?

There was. We mentioned it to Ron and he said he wanted to put together a toyota event for when we came down. That actually kinda took the wind out of our sails. We know that we would either have to participate in the event or be rude and do our own thing. Participating in the event would mean start wheeling "early" in the morning, wheel almost all day, then night wheel (they love the night wheel). While there is a huge part of me that wants to finish "all day sucker," that's just not the way we usually roll, plus I know some people in the group would not be interested in that. Or I'm wrong, and we should just go. Or we should go to Harlan KY...

I didn't really get the impression from Ron that he wanted a "structured event" but rather a large Toyota wheelers gathering. I could be wrong.

Harlin KY would be cool as well. I definately want to go there.

That there are some cities in differing states that are equadistant from your house.

I didn't drive the 40 to bh. Only a dummy would do that.
