Hi
I have access to a fj75 adjustable steering column for my 1979 fj45 cruiser. Could you tell me the benefits of using these steering columns in our old trucks. I was thinking of fitting one for a better driving position having the steering wheel closer to the dash and the adjustability would also help with the seating position. I'm 6ft tall and these small cabs have limited room when changing gears with my knee clipping my ear when releasing the clutch or braking. Would you know off a fix for a shorter throw clutch and brake peddle maybe the 70-75 would help also ?
Thank you for tips on the 70 steering column it will defiantly be my next purchase for my planed rebuild. Was the install easy with all bolt holes lining up or was the fire wall modified to except the 70 column
