I just bought an almost completely restored 1975 pickup which is a RHD HJ but with a recon 2F motor fitted. I wish to complete the restore as much as parts are available. One area that needs attention is the dash, no heater or ac, and there are only 3 knobs on the dash however several empty holes. Need help identifying what those were for, if anything. If anyone can help please advice. There is a working light switch and a wiper switch but thats all. I also want to install a dash pad - is there a difference between the dash pads for left vs. RHD? Will also search to see if anyone on the forum had done a heater installation for the RHD, with instructions, because I will need to figure out what all parts I'll need and how to do this. Cheers.

On quick research looks to me what I will need is a hazard switch, cigarette ligter, fan pull switch, fresh pull switch and warm pull switch and a heater assembly and the cables/wiring/hoses/schematics that is needed to retrofit the above functional buttons/switches. If anyone can make a quick recommendation on where to shop for these let me know, thanks

I have retro fitted a heater to my HJ45, it takes more than you might think.
You need to cut out the LH bulkhead and weld in the heater fan mounting, the mounts for heater box are not there, the heater tap mounts and hole for the cable are not there. Also the fresh air vent control gets in the way.

Thanks for the insight. If it requires as you say cutting drilling I probably wont do it, want to keep the truck, at least the cab to its original form and design. Can live without a heater.
