hj 61 electrical damage

Hi guys, I just looked at a hj61 12ht diesel which is not running and apparently had a battery connected wrong way round, neg to positive. Just wondering if anyone can tell me how much damage it would likely to have . Thanx for any help.

Anything that is polarity sensitive. If the electrical device does not have a reverse polarity diod in it, its possible its fried. Only way to know is to hook up the battery the right way, then check all the electrical items. ECM could possibly be damaged if it has one.
