There's a road like that in Lebanon over Wadi Al Jamajem (valley of skulls, true name not making it up). It's known for the lives it's claimed over the years. Last year my brother's old classmate died there when his car fell off and burst into flames. In some places even a land cruiser can't get through, so you have to make it by mule or donkey
