It’s interesting...because while it starts off sounding like it’s about to utterly slam the Land Cruiser...it slowly develops into a Pretty complimentary listing of reasons why some of us are so hooked.

So it identifies all the mindless criticisms, but then explains why we still want one.

Not so bad...

Interesting it has a rear locking diff. Wonder where the button for that is ;)

Ya... Funny. Maybe he thought the center diff lock was a rear...

Imagine just how anemic it would feel to smash throttle on a "FJ200"

Oh that would be sorely disappointing

They really need to update the dang seats in the LC though. More support and adjustments...like thigh extenders. The odd thing about the LX is that it has a thigh extender only for the drivers seat. Why wouldn’t they add it to the passenger is beyond me.

I think it's because the driver is forced to keep their pedal foot elevated long term.
The passenger can do whatever they want with their legs...

The luxury leg support I would love would be a split thigh support like the one I recently saw at a car show. It let you control left and right side of the driver though extension independently for both height and forward extension. Would be awesome on those all-day, all-night drives.

This one below isn't as nice as the one I saw, but it's similar. It could raise, but also sort of "unroll" to extend forward:

Yes, but every German car/suv we’ve owned always had the exact same seats with thigh extension for the passenger as well, including the British brands. Makes no real sense.
