So most of the high steer steering arms out there have two holes on the passenger side arm. This seems like a bad design and the reason why the passenger side knuckles fail. The way I look at it, with this design, you have to trasmit the load of turning the driver's tire through the passenger knuckle. In the stock configuration the load is always transfered to the tie rod. I think this is even more true for the 4x4 labs design. I'm not trying to start an arguement about this subject or imply that any of the high steer vendors is making junk (all are quality products) I'd just like to generate some thought and hear your opinion, preferably analysis. From the static load analysis I've done, the 2 hole arms appear to create higher knuckle loads than a single hole arm does. Comments? Thanks.
