After much thought as to what I should purchase I've finally decided to try and find a high mileage, well maintained 100 series. I know this is going to limit me to the earlier model years but that's fine. My thought process is simple, If I like the earlier years and I want to upgrade to a newer one down the road it will be a no brainer. I kept getting caught up in looking for the 5spd trans and the higher engine output of the 06 and 07 when I was looking but spending almost 20k on one of those seems a bit extreme at this point. I'm will travel for the right truck and drive it back. I'm in Ann Arbor Michigan.
Wish list:
-Either a LX470 or Land Cruiser is fine
-1998 - 2002 interest me most. I like the simplicity of the non-integrated nav/stero combo. With that said, I'll entertain a later year too.
-Southern Vehicle or one that hasn't been in the rust belt for long (looking for no rust)
-Clean - small dents and scratchs don't scare me.
-Accident Free (I'm realistic, if yours has been in a minor scuffle with pics to prove, lets chat)
-High Mileage
-Well Maintained
-Exterior Color is unimportant. (Grey or white or black would be nice if I could pic)
-Interior Color - Preferably grey but if its clean i'm good with Tan. Seems the grey is more rare.
-Modifications - I'd prefer as close to stock as possible. Supercharged a bonus.
