Hello all, recently picked up a high mile 2013 (178K) and I'm in the process of baselining it (as well as trying to de-rust/loosen KDSS screws after buying a lift kit ugh). The idle in park never drops below 1000 rpms under any condition (all warmed up, AC on or off, makes no difference). If it's in gear it lowers to 700 or so. Also when I am coasting in drive it seems like it's getting a little gas as it is very slow to decelerate on it's own (I can maintain 25mph or so for a while). I end up braking more than I feel is necessary at low speeds. I've never owned a 200 (just an 80 and 100) so I have nothing to compare it to. I just a search and didn't come up with anything. Any ideas? TIA!

I also have a 2013LC and had a similar complaint until I found out about the cool box hidden feature! If your cool box (in the center console) is turned ON, then the A/C will never turn OFF no matter the dash settings for A/C.

So... turn your cool box OFF AND your A/C OFF and see if you have the same problem. If so, then it's something else.

HTH

Unfortunately I have had the cool box off since I bought it and I have turned the AC off a bunch of times. Wish it were this simple. Thanks for trying to help though!

You need to find someone with a tech stream system, and specifically one that has the live data function working. Some of the cheaper cables can clear codes but won’t have effective live data.

I’m curious whether the throttle pedal sensor is at 0% when your foot is off it. This isn’t a common problem posted here. Might as well check behind it to make sure something isn’t stuck also.

And see if it happens on the tundra boards? Our ecu is different but most of the control systems on the engine itself are similar.
