High beam light issue - update

Hi gang,

My normal head lights are working ok.
my high beam works when pushing the handle to the back, but no blue light indicator
my flash high beam is NOT working
Where to start looking?

Got the switch out
saw good how it functions
cleaned the connectors, no improvement

found out that 1 wire (RY) had no power
behind the gauge console was a lose connector
no sign of the other connector

the b/w wire from the high beam handle is not connected
I found some more lose ends
its a mess

I'm starting to think its all connecting:
Blue high beam not working
Flash high beam not working

When head lights on, the fixed high beam is working, but no blue light indicator gauge console

I might start by looking at the high-beam switch. I had to fiddle with mine recently, very simple on my '74

yes I was seeing this and also the handle wire diagram
I did 'shake' the wire harnas coming out the handle
I let the handle 'plop' to make sure that there is good contact

If I put on high beam the headlight goes out on both ways

Maybe with some cleaning fluid or fine sand paper?

I used an emery board, some contact cleaner and finished with some leftover lightbulb grease. I also lightly re-arched the springy bits.

You should mark and pull the wheel and clean the switch, or cycle the handle a bunch in hopes to clean the contacts. The bulb in the cluster might be bad. Be sure to disconnect the battery if you remove the cluster. There is no flash function that I'm aware of.

yeah, flasher high beam is not working, and main head lights go out when flashing high beam
Contacts handle are fine
So power on fixed High beam is there, but no power for flash high beam
