Ah must be one of the last 80's in the UK! Very clean. Welcome.

Welcome You Bloody Wanker!!!!

I Like The Color!
And You'll Definitly Love This Site...... ;)

Welcome :flipoff2: Curious about your roof rack. Looks original, but not the same as the rack that was stuck on US model 80 series. How does it attach?

Welcome! :flipoff2: Mud salute. :flipoff2:

Have you put away a small fortune for a: the money in mods this board will entice you to do and b: for what you will pay for petrol at UK prices?

Welcome, very cool rig and a very cool decision to switch sides to the truly "best 4x4 by far"!!! :flipoff2: Ohh, that's the official salute, around here a sign of affection, not disrespect, unless you're showing the salute to Junk! :D

Welcome, yup loose the damage multiplier on the front, problem is if you hit something( even not hard) it will crush the hood. where as the bumper would have took the hit without damage. but the nudge bar has the image. so if you wish. it looks nice in Chrome.

very nice looking truck. the colour is my favorite. have fun surfing here.

Oh ya and your diesel make sure you hang out in the international section of this forum, excellent diesel heads there.

Thanks for the replies everyone. These LC's are great trucks!Been busy today checking the brake pads, changing the tranny & diff oils etc.Towing the boat up to Scotland for fishing holiday next week so just making sure the old girl's ready. The shop did the engine service (oil & filters etc).

The roof rack holds 75KG.The horizontal bars don't seem adjustable which limits what you could put on it.
Undecided what to do with the bull bar.Didnt like it at first but maybe it's gowing on me? Didn't realise they could cause more damage in a low speed shunt. It's stainless steel and £400 new so if I take it off It'll be on Ebay!!

First smart move-got rid of the Rover.
Second smart move-Ebay the dental work, get an ARB.v
Third smart move-Toss the stock roof rack for a beefier rack such as a Kaymar.

Love that color. Very nice truck. Welcome aboard :flipoff2: I got rid of my brush guard after hearing the bad news.

That roof rack is similar to the racks we got in Canada on the 60 series. Unless you are going to load higher than 75 kg on the roof, keep the rack. I think it looks good.

The US never got the factory rack like that on the 60's either. who know why Toyota makes the decisions they do?
