Thanks everyone for your warm welcome! Also for the advice and instruction. :grinpimp:
Don't worry i have a 93Turbo MR-2 that has consumed alot of time and funds, but the LC will be getting plenty of attention soon.

while your doing the front wheel bearings you might as well to the birf repack. Then you will be good for 60K miles. Good time to do the rotors and pads as well.

In the 80's section main page there is a thread titled FAQ for 80/LX450 series. In the maintenance section there is a thread on the Front axle rebuild complete with pictures. I think in the same section is a discussion on oil from forum members.

Thanks, i'll do some research on the birf repack and try to get it done soon. I assume i'll need a press, also the rotors and pads were just done so i'm off the hook there.

Welcome, and congrats. Did you buy your truck from John in WV (Bismarkguy)? He seems to get a lot of trucks with lockers.

Actually i got it from a soccor mom! The lockers were defidently the selling point for me, alonge with the classy look of the 40th anniversary edition. The price was very low too. :D

They think you are crazy to trade a Nissan for a Toyo? They are nuts. There is no comparision. Nissan is like a Jap Ford, breaks more and harder to fix. Especially anything with Z in the name. They suck, take it from an old mechanic. If anybody gave me a "Z" car it would be on the market in less than an hour! I'd rather beat myself with sticks than own a Z car. Sticks cost less and cause less pain!

Hey now! Several of us mudders also own Z's, but if I had a 350Z I would probably trade it in for an FJ too. My DD:
