Here's a pic from that Colorado carb I was telling you about with the stuck power piston. As you can see from the pic, the skin on my finger is being pushed in by the piston, which is not retracting into the airhorn [as it should]. Consequence: power valve is engaged ALL THE TIME!

what causes that to sick like that?
just dirty?

As I was telling Steve, the cause varies. I have taken a couple apart that were shellac-ed with old gas. A few others were sooty from carbon. A few have just had oxidation of the aluminum bore.
