Yeah, dry ice does wonders for shipping meat, used it one time to bring a haggis down to Santa Catalina, it worked out pretty well.

I must say that the Rangers did exceptionally well, it's just that the Giants have this thing for low-points games...

they say Ranger fans are the best... because Butch and all our Texas friends are Rangers fans, I have no reason to doubt that statement.

This was a Fun series... I mean I cannot remember when I enjoyed watching a series as much as this one, and I have to say it's most likely because we were all watching it together.

But make no mistake, I never once thought we had this in the bag until they threw the last out in game 5.

Next time I fire the smoker up, I'll do a brisket for ya'll I reckon if I freeze it and ship in dry ice it'll survive......got to hand it to the Giants, pitchers just throttled the best hitting team in Baseball.........got to love the new ownership of the Rangers, we'll be back.

Pretty sure I heard 1st weekend in Dec....didn't find it on the calander.

Hey Texican

If you happen to smoke up some brisket for Thanksgiving, make sure you throw some on for the PMC Christmas party. That way 30 or so of your closest friends will be thinking of you :)

Party is Dec 4th.

OK, the brisket has had 22 hrs of Hickory/Pecan smoke, rested for a couple of hours, sliced and is now in the freezer........I'll try and get it shipped as soon as I figure out who and how to ship it....someone got an address where it can be sent, preferable where there is somebody there to get it so it don't have to linger ........notice the smoke ring?

no rub that is all smokey goodness..........kosher salt and coarse pepper only.

Texican, you are preaching to the choir, man. Two years butchering, trying to smile when folks asked what marinade I'd put on a porterhouse, I like my meat to taste like meat, I'll just marinade myself with a nice beer or an Islay Scotch while partaking.
