Uh-oh, looks like we got another bitter HE hater. Sound like the guys in the 80 forum dissing on the 40ths and CEs. "But, but its the same truck as mine!"Just your weekly reminder that the Heritage Edition is almost exactly the same as a “base” 200. Any picture of a 200 on 34/35 is the same thing. Just squint and you can imagine a badge on the d-pillar and no door mouldings.
Are you drunk?Uh-oh, looks like we got another bitter HE hater. Sound like the guys in the 80 forum dissing on the 40ths and CEs. "But, but its the same truck as mine!"![]()
Nope, I like the Heritage Edition. Not dissing on it at all. I’d love to have one.Uh-oh, looks like we got another bitter HE hater. Sound like the guys in the 80 forum dissing on the 40ths and CEs. "But, but its the same truck as mine!"![]()
Uhhh…but he’s right. Whatever fits on “base” will fit exactly same on HE…and vice versa.Uh-oh, looks like we got another bitter HE hater. Sound like the guys in the 80 forum dissing on the 40ths and CEs. "But, but its the same truck as mine!"![]()
no, are you?Are you drunk?
Dude just wants to see pics of a lifted HE. Whats so complicated about that?Uhhh…but he’s right. Whatever fits on “base” will fit exactly same on HE…and vice versa.
Because a lift base is the same…………what’s so complicated about that?Dude just wants to see pics of a lifted HE. Whats so complicated about that?
Someone woke up on the wrong side of bed with a flagpole up his….no, are you?
No its not the same. It doesn't have blacked out headlights. It has the chrome strips on the doors. It has running boards. It doesn't have the emblem on the d pillar. it doesn't have gold wheels.....Because a lift base is the same…………what’s so complicated about that?
Wow…thank goodness such a heroic superhero has come to save those in need? Get over yourself dude. No one is bullying anyone. If you see that as bullying, then maybe you yourself need a crying closet to get over your feelings of self hate.No its not the same. It doesn't have blacked out headlights. It has the chrome strips on the doors. It has running boards. It doesn't have the emblem on the d pillar. it doesn't have gold wheels.....
It. Looks. Different. Thats why he wanted to see pics of one lifted. Because an HE LOOKS different than a base. You follow?
I was fine until I come on here and see people bullying others for asking what they deem to to be pointless questions, and then berate others for answering those questions.
Now can we see some pics of some lifted HEs? If you dont care about seeing pics of lifted HEs, why are you even in here?
Yep - true badge engineering. De-content and charge more. Rinse and repeat.Nope, I like the Heritage Edition. Not dissing on it at all. I’d love to have one.
I AM consistently shocked by the people that don’t recognize that it is the same thing as a base for all intents and purposes.
As you were.
Not disagreeing with the concept that the HE is the same as a base because it is--I think Toyota gets as much flak for this as they do because it's simply an aesthetics package which doesn't really pay tribute in any way to the heritage of the LC. If they would have called it something else I don't think it would ruffle as many feathers as it does.Yep - true badge engineering. De-content and charge more. Rinse and repeat.
I’ve been participating in auto enthusiast forums for about two decades. I’ve learned to strongly disagree with the above. People will complain about anything that doesn’t double the horsepower and let them win king of the hammers.. and even then they’d probably complain about the name.If they would have called it something else I don't think it would ruffle as many feathers as it does.
I take it the 35.12.50 wasn’t working well for you. The 305,65 looks great as well.Hi guysHope everyone is having a splendid day

The HE was a better buy for us because we want a chrome delete, sliders, no 3rd row, and we like the wheels. It makes sense for those of us who would be ditching the 3rd row, chrome delete, and adding sliders as I don’t want the hassle of selling those yanked items or do o care to store them. The darker headlamps will look better with a color matched grill as well. Not disagreeing with the concept that the HE is the same as a base because it is--I think Toyota gets as much flak for this as they do because it's simply an aesthetics package which doesn't really pay tribute in any way to the heritage of the LC. That said I see this argument come up consistently that you pay more for less and I don't understand that logic at all.
With the extra money for an HE you get:
-Deviated stitching on the interior
-Different grill
-Black headlight backgrounds
-Black side mirror caps
-Darkened chrome
-Yakima Mega Warrior basket
-Forged BBS wheels which are lighter
-Retro D-pillar badging
You lose:
-Different leather grade
-Running boards
-Cool Box
-3rd row (unless optioned back in on 2021)
-Chrome door trims
Whether or not an individual thinks the HE items are worth the money is irrelevant. You pay more for different with a few add-ons, but certainly not less.
