Hi there all. I'm tentatively in the market for some 35'' muddies. I am a college student with a tight budget and do lots of highway driving, so I'm looking to get the best bang for my buck. While performing copious amounts of research I came across a tire I had seen before in a review done by Petersen's 4Wheel & Off-Road magazine, the Hercules Trail Digger M/T. Upon further research of the tires, I found generally positive reviews, but nothing really telling me about the wear/life and long term handling of the tires. So I want to hear your thoughts and experiences! WARNING: I AM NOT LOOKING FOR EXPERIENCES WITH OTHER TIRES! DO NOT TRY AND SELL ME ON HOW AMAZING YOUR DURATRACS AND KM2'S ARE!!! Thanks!!!

Hercules

Don't know much about tread life, but I did drive a Dodge 2500 with 'em, they are kinda loud. I did have a different Hercules tread design (all terrain) on my 2002 Taco, the tires didn't seem to last very long, maybe 30k ish, and the last 10k the tires were noisy with lots of weird vibrations that no amount of balancing or rotating could take care of. I would not buy that tire again, personally.

Well let me tell you, I know people with km2s and they are just the bees knees. I have an old set if you'd like them, shoot me a pm.

The words "80 Series, 35" tires, lots of highway driving, tight budget and cheap mud tire" do not make sense to me.
