Which model/year/engine 80 Series are you working on (FJ, FZJ, HDJ, ---)??

It might also help if you could take a photo of the leak (clean the area off first) and post it up.

The threaded coupling attaches to (threads into) the steering gear housing.

Here's a link to youtube for a FZJ80 (left hand drive) steering gear box replacement but if you scroll through it shows the hose/pipe connections at the steering gear housing which can be viewed from the wheel well looking between the frame and inner fender. You're gear box (Australia) will be on the right side of course if you're driving a RHD vehicle.

"the leak happened when i was out driving and have fluid everywhere"

Right, but where exactly is the leak?

Did a hose rupture, is the leak at a hose/pipe connection, from the PS pump, or the steering gear box???

Was any service or repairs to the PS system done before the leak occurred??

this is the hose that has leaked
this is the part that is supposed to fit my vehicle
my problem is the reservoir is on the passenger side and the gear arm is on the drivers side
i dont see how the replacement part will fit

The one photo you posted is too low resolution, too dark, out of focus, and taken too close to see what is what.
You may have to set your phone camera to a higher resolution or put it on Automatic.

1) has your FZJ80 had any modifications to the engine or power steering system (Propane conversion?)
2) can you take a high resolution photo showing the entire engine bay from in front and slightly above ie: so all major components are visible?
3) can you take a couple more high resolution photos of the steering gear box area and the PS reservoir area from above (like three feet away)?

OK, so we're all on the same page:

@cruiser1873 : you're working on a RHD FZJ80 (Australia) which means the PS pump and reservoir are on the Left side of the engine and the Steering Gear box is bolted to the right front frame rail.

The Tube Assembly in the photo above is for a LHD FZJ80 (too short), the part you need is longer in order to reach all the way over from the left side to the right (which you already figured out).

Unfortunately that "Tube Assembly, Pressure Feed" pipe/hose assembly (44410-60330 or maybe 44410-60320 depending on model) appears to no longer be available (see 44410 in the diagram below). You could search around, someone might still have one somewhere ie: Megazip, Amayama, Japan4x4, ---

To confirm the correct part number (as mentioned) go to Partsouq and type in your VIN number, that will pull up the correct parts diagrams for your model, then go to GROUPS and scroll down to STEERING, then Power Steering System.

One option is 44410-60330 with integrated PS cooler:

Or maybe this (44410-60320), depends on which model FZJ80R with Power Steering you have:
