I was looking at the old bj looking sad in the paddock and thinking the springs look like it's got a lift plenty of arch. They are all pretty rusty except the front of the drivers side from due to a ps leak. A quick wipe with a rag and some numbers are revealed. Any ideas on what make they could be?

Hi EW, it might be as simple as these are replacements from sometime in the history of your truck. (Have you looked up the spring part numbers on toyodiy.com for your particular truck?) I found on our 1991 pickup had springs in the front of two different lengths. I think in my case the PO just founds something about the same and put it on, which rendered the truck incapable of being properly aligned. The 'new' springs I show in this post are Toyota OEM and 6 leaf (the heavier-duty version). The markings look pretty different from your springs. I'd like to learn more about this--it would be great if you posted more as you resolve this issue.

Hello,

OME springs have numbers like those stenciled, as well as the + mark.

Just a guess.

The OME's I got last summer had yellow paint.
Don't know if that is standard.
