Need/ want to remove this security system. Have found the motion sensor and control box. Now how do I deal with the wiring. I assume this was spliced into various systems on the rig . Do I need to trace back the wires to find the splices and reestablish those connections by splicing the old wires back together. There are a lot of wires coming out of the connector.

Did you pay for it or was it included in the price? Why are you removing it? If it's an aftermarket a lot of times they would use scotch lock to splice in the add on module to your vehicle, you can disconnect from the scotch lock but do not remove the scotch lock. Find the module which is likely under the dash disconnect all of it and splice back any harness they cut.

I bought this truck used. It was originally in Texas (I am in Idaho) I found two wires that needed to be reconnected. Soldered them back together. The relay disabled the starter. Left it in place. Removed the module, valet light, motion detector, and hood open detector. Left the 24 pin plug in place. Taped everything back up and now I have no alarm. Ultimately I think the fob went bad and I am tired of the dam alarm. With 300,000 miles this rig isn't all that attractive to steal.

Anyway, thank you for your willingness to help. These forums have made DYI much more accessible.
