OK, I got in the 80 today to pick my girls up from school and noticed when I got there the radio had switched from FM to playing a CD on its own, the clock lost time, and it goes dead at idle! It runs fine going down the road but still wont idle at all, what the heck is going on?

Is there a crack in the air intake tube? Never had this issue myself, just putting this out there.

No, I'm thinking it has to be something electrical because of the radio and clock issues. It has a Optima battery in it and it kinda looks like its leaking acid, I did wash it last night but I dont think its water on it but it is a little wet. It also has a battery disconnect switch, but I havent messed with it.

You are right to start with electrical. I was grasping at straws . . . which I did poorly! As you can read, I am no mechanic!

If the battery disconnect you're talking about is one that is normally closed and is one of the knife blade ones, yep, check for corrosion in the blade where it contacts when closed.

I took the battery cables off and cleaned them and when I put them back on the negative post started bubbling acid and leaking so I took the battery to have it tested and it was bad. I got a new battery and thought the problem was solved, to start with it was, but I lost all power again so I started messing with the disconnect and I think that's my problem, it's a key type disconnect.
