I've just bought an AS-450 winch (OEM Toyota, made by Aisin?)
It's in great condition, seems to have everything with it too. But I'm not sure how to go about wiring it?

The chap who had it before me, had it wired with these three wires, he said. Two spade connectors (red andblue wires), which I guess went on the yellow and white wires inside the grey plug? And the black wire with ring connector, which I guess goes on to the threaded connector with the nuts and washers to the right of the controller plug? My main question is which is goes to positive and which to negative/earth? He didn't have it on a Toyota. I do have the controller so that isn't an issue.
