I have a dobinsons 3” lift, dobinsons upper control arms that have a built in 3” caster correction and I just replaced the lower control arms as well as the tie rod ends, the alignment shop spent several hours attempting to get the alignment right but gave up? Shouldn’t the caster be higher with the aftermarket uca’s??

They need to adjust from lower control arm cam bolt. Front need to be adjusted fully in and the rear need to be fully out. This will move tire as far forward as possible.

Update just took it to the Toyota dealer and they said that was the max caster they can get

I have SPC UCA's and I am running 4deg caster. If dobinson's have 3deg built into them, then you should be able to achieve 4 too

I would think so...the service advisor said that’s 100’s of an inch difference and just leave it alone, it’s aligned

This all reminds me to go get a free alignment with the plan I purchased last year! Not sure why your caster can't get higher.

My caster has been moving around with the various alignments that I've had done in the last two years. Here are my numbers and my last alignment (Left Front/Right Front). These are all with the TotalChaos UCAs and stock LCAs in the front:

1: 4.0/4.6
2: 4.4/4.6
3: 3.5/3.9

And here's the alignment paperwork for the last one:

yours are way better than mine!! I'm thinking the reason is I actually have more lift than 3", I have the dobinsons heavy duty front & rear springs for 350 lbs and I only have the ironmam front bumper which isn't that heavy, and nothing on the back yet, I probably should have gone with the spc adjustable to get 4 degrees of caster but oh well, it should't be a problem if I don't have closer to 3 on the caster right? It's not like it's going to affect tire wear at this point?

Can you get a pic of the cams and cam tabs? I'm curious if they just flattened them which would be why they cannot get any movement.

Oh was level at about 22.5” in front and rear on my last alignment. I’m now at 23.5” in the rear after the coil conversion.
